Not great, November 18, 2009 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: VersiFlex� Mattress Boxspring Foundation - 8". Ideal for memory foam, latex, and air mattresses. This product is a good idea in theory, but suffers from poor craftsmanship and materials. The wood is not spruce but pine. Most of the pieces were warped, so there was a great deal of force needed to make the holes line up. Plus, key pieces of wood (with the hole for screws) were the worst, splintered pieces. It works for now, but isn't really worth the $200 it cost (definitely not worth the "full price" of $350) , what with the back pain and splinters required to assemble. I don't know if it will ever be possible to disassemble and reassemble if I need to move it.

Ideal for memory foam, latex, and air mattresses. I have bought this as I did not find much of an option for a solid foundation for my foam mattress. The product quality is bad, wood is cheap and way too much expensive for the kind of quality you get. For $240 its not worth, though its working for now. I would not recommend this at this price. You should buy something like this for not more than $100 in my opinion.

Good BoxSpring, June 17, 2010 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: VersiFlex� Mattress Boxspring Foundation - King 8". Ideal for memory foam, latex, and air mattresses. I read conflicting reviews, but still decided to buy the boxspring because I have small doorways and needed to be able to breakdown the boxspring for my new king airbed. This boxspring works. It is as sturdy as my regular boxsprings. It is relatively easy to setup. I am a female (not that gender really matters), and I put it together in about 15min BY MYSELF. However, be careful about the soft wood type; don't over-tighten the bolts/screws too much or you will dig too deep into the wood. I split the wood just a hair when I over tightened a screw, but it is still sturdy. I would still recommend this boxspring. Oh, and the shipping from Overnight Mattress was mega fast. Received it in 3 business days. It was worth the $200 I paid.
